This was a difficult theme.. I realised that working on material themes like 'stripes' or 'window' was much more easier than themes like 'waiting' or 'drowning'.. Should try to do an equal mix of themes so that I don't push all the difficult themes to the end..
I wanted the drowning person saved, so the famous hands of Michelangelo became those of the drowning person and the saviour.. The background image was saved as a wall paper from the internet long time ago and I searched the net but couldn't find the site once again..

An excellent take on drowning...a very effective visual with a touch of humor...awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this - very effective. Love the idea of the hands xx
ReplyDeleteLove this use of imagery. A serious but thought provoking theme artistically! An inspiring sense of rescue and hope.
ReplyDeleteI like the hands from Michelangelo, you use them fantastic in combination with the nature background!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully rendered. I too tend to leave the harder themes until later...I guess that's not a good idea :).
